Born and raised in Vancouver, I grew up in a creative family and was always interested in the arts. I studied Art History in Europe through Langara College, followed by Visual Arts at the University of Victoria. After completing my BFA degree at UVic, I came back to my hometown to earn a post-graduate diploma from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, where my passion for the field began. Art therapy felt like the natural path for me, combining my love for the arts and helping others. From both personal experience and watching others, I have seen first-hand the ability art materials can have to help people heal. My goal is to introduce more people to art therapy, and to help those looking for a new therapeutic approach in their healing journey.
